Welcome

Maradadi Pacific Holdings is the quiet administrative arm of the Maradadi Pacific team of companies. In addition to making sure the offices are running smoothly, MPH welcomes the workers from all parts of the continent and the planet who join the anchor staff for short or long periods of time.

Maradadi is a kiswahili word that means 'very beautiful/very fancy'. At the founding of the company in 1996, Gordon Wilson and Judi Tyabji Wilson decided they had to find a name that suited a company involved in so many varied undertakings. They looked for a word that described the west coast of British Columbia, while also providing an international flavour. Gordon offered a word from his childhood in Kenya, East Africa, and with the addition of the word "Pacific" it was destined to be a name that was unlike any other on the planet. Somehow it was suited to the eclectic nature of the province of BC, and the people involved with the company.

Under the arm of Maradadi Pacific Holdings runs a group of other companys involved in various tasks. There companys are:

Situated on the beautiful mid-coast of British Columbia's mainland, the offices of MPH look out on the Malaspina Strait, across to the snow-capped peaks of Vancouver Island, and over the many lovely islands that attract so many pleasure boaters to their shores in the summer months. Sometimes, when we are lucky, we spot porpoises or orcas swimming by.
